        Here are three other cases in which I was able to work with counsel, parties, and insurers to achieve a settlement.

• Tenant's visitor-plaintiff versus Landlord defendant for injuries from fall on porch needing repair.  This case settled within the first hour of mediation.

• Three party lawsuit, industrial property Landlord versus General Contractor and Engineering Firm defendants. Breach of contract and engineering malpractice.  This case settled at the end of a full-day mediation.

• Commercial Landlord plaintiff versus Restaurant LLC defendant.  This case came to me where the court had compelled arbitration based on a mandatory arbitration lease clause, and the parties agreed on me as the arbitrator. We took evidence from the first two of five witnesses, then I mediated the case to settlement.  During this process I carefully maintained my neutrality in case I had to decide the arbitration.  The entire process took 3 hours.
